Can someone recommend a really good Spanish grammar workbook(or books) with answers, available in the US .Where I take classes there is minimal feedback and not time enough from the instructor to answer questions. Many Thanks in advance

There are quite a few excellent books. For grammar books, I would recommend anything in the "Practice Makes Perfect" series, beginning with "Complete Spanish Grammar." There are quite a few other books in the series (Google them); I found "Advanced Spanish Grammar" to be useful. There is a book called "The Ultimate Spanish Review and Practice" by Ronni Gordon that I also liked. It includes an exercise CD which is pretty good.

There is a lot of good stuff on line, much of it free. Check out LearnSpanish.com.

Then there are my two favorites: "Breaking Out of Beginner's Spanish" by Joseph Keenan and ""No Pise El Pasto", edited by BIll Gallacher. These are oriented to Mexican/Central American Spanish, but are excellent.

Suerte!

Hi faliron, please do a search of our archives and you should be able to find plenty of threads related to this topic (such as the one already listed by Sanlee). Thanks grin
