I have a list of words in spanish and I am not sure of the gender of some of them. Help

Usually if it ends in an "o" or "os" it is masculine, and if it ends in an "a" or "as" it is usually feminine. However, some nouns have irregularities such as el agua, or el dia, etc...

This link could help you for some other irregularities, however, I suggest memorizing some of the common nouns for easier reference.

Yes you're right - if you want to check you can type it into the 'translate' area above (see yellow tab) and you'll get the dictionary definition and description smile
