Well, not really, season is singular, just like in Spanish.

there are four seasons, hay cinco estaciones del año

the winter season is very active.

I was a little bit confused while learning the flashcards. I saw the word la estación and the translation; the seasons (with the four seasons added as a picture (no sign of Vivaldi ofcourse;) ))) - 00434ec3, Nov 30, 2011
no sign or the recording group, either? - 0074b507, Nov 30, 2011

I think "seasoned" past participle is used as an adjective. - 0074b507, Nov 30, 2011
