"grooming" ?? and need help on the rest of the item

How do you say "grooming" in Spanish? on the dictionary it just says "buena presentacion" or something, but i'm looking for the actual activity.

I want to translate this:

"Expresses distress during grooming (for example, fights or cries during haircutting, face washing, fingernail cutting)"

So i guess I could say

"Se angustia durante grooming (por ejemplo, lucha or llora al cortar el pelo, al lavarse la cara, al cortar las uñas)"

I'm not sure about the reflexive verbs for that, since maybe they won't cut their hair or nails, but they might wash their hair (it's a questionnaire for parents about their children.)

Also, should I put the "al ~verbo~" or just "cuando corta el pelo, se lava la cara..." etc.?

maybe you could use the verb arreglar instead? Its the best one I can think of.
