I agree but we don't know that it's Hw. It could be him attempting to write, right? Benefit of the doubt. - Saythatagain, Nov 28, 2011

I have a question just like this! I am trying to write, "This pen is my sisters." Is it, "Esta pluma es de mi hermana"? My problem isn't with ser/estar... it's to say "de mi hermana" or just "mi hermana". Hope somebody reads this.

Paz y Amor :D

Sorry, this is not correct, dc. - --Mariana--, Nov 28, 2011
It would be "es" because it is not a temporary characteristic - Saythatagain, Nov 28, 2011
