Hello I'm watching some clips in spanish in order to get familiar with it. Pretty often comes the word 'Creo'. The dictionary says, that it comes from crear, which means to create. However i don't thnik that it's always with this meaning. Is it a phrasal verb?

Muchos Gracias!

I don't think phrasal verbs exist in Spanish - that is why they are so difficult for all of us, Spanish and English speakers. - ian-hill, Nov 28, 2011

Creo also comes from creer, so yep, it also means I think/believe! No phrasing needed in this case.

It comes from "creer" = to believe - I believe or I think

It is used more frequently then "pienso" the direct translation for "I think"
