I know, I know para vs por again! But this is specific.
I have read many different explanations and examples on these two, but at times I run into scenarios where I am just not sure. For example:
Tenemos una casa reservada para dos semanas. Ellos van de vacaciones por dos semanas.
They both refer to two weeks in the future, but one uses PARA and the other uses POR.
I am not certain of the difference. To me, they seem the same. thanks!

Where have you read them? The problem is that both use "por". "Tenemos una casa reservada por dos semanas".
My opinion is that the first one is incorrect. Por is used for duration like durante.
Googling reservar for or disponible for....por is used; not para.
In a very good Spanish book "Spanish Pronouns and Prepositions" by Dorothy Richmond. I find her books the best in explaining the grammar, but as always, there are some confusing parts so multiple sources are necessary.
I'm thinking that she had a mistake in her book and that they should both have been the same, as you stated, as "por".
THANK YOU BOTH!
