I looked up in the dictionary, but I couldn't quite understand the meaning of tranquillo. Could someone explain it to me?

¡Muchas gracias !

I think it's lingo.

Esa palabra coloquialmente solo se usa en esta frase...

"Coger el tranquillo" --> To begin doing something well.

For example...when you start improving your spanish, and feel more comfortable, you can say "Le estoy cogiendo el tranquillo al español"

No confundir "tranquillo" y "tranquilo"

Tranquilo means calm, quiet...

do you mean 'slang' instead of 'lingo' - I think it's slang? :) also the same meaning as your example but another more colloquial way to put it is 'to get the hang of something' - Kiwi-Girl, Nov 25, 2011
Barney_Stins: ¡GRACIAS! That was the small difference, that I couldn´t understand : ) - coldflames, Nov 26, 2011
Yep! Slang sounds definitely better for me that lingo!...That is "argot" or "jerga" in spanish...Thanks - Barney_Stinson, Nov 27, 2011
