I was hoping to get some clarification for my guesses

How is the game going? = ¿como va el partido?

The score is... = el resulto es...

Who is playing?(which teams) = Quien es jugando

Two- nil = dos a cero

The score is... = el resultado es.../ el marcador es

Who is playing?(which teams) = ¿Quién está jugando?

Two- nil = dos a cero --> Good

Lo siento pero me parece fútbol "soccer " es aburrido.

What do you call scoreless games because there are far too many of them,

and as for the shoot out because there is no score that is mindless.

I have an awful feeling that not many people will agree except here in OZ

where we play real football with massive goal scoring and it is never boring .

Australian soccer is very small here not a great following at all. We have our own game called "Australian Rules Football" Please have a look at the link you will see some incredible football , I barrack for the " Tigers " here in Melbourne. - ray76, Nov 25, 2011
