Salir = to leave. You have to conjugate it as shown here.
He leaves school at five o'clock = Sale de la escuela a las cinco.

Hojas is the plural of the noun leaf = leaves.

Sonrisa, until Kevin successfully finds Lazarus's excellent post I will post some guidance on this matter concerning the diffference between ir and irse:

When you use/one uses the verb ir in Spanish you are saying that someone is going somewhere and you must/have to give/include a destination: eg

Voy a ir a la casa de mis padres = I am going to my parents' house

Voy a ir de compras = = I am going shopping

But when you use irse = to leave/go away you do not have to give a destination although you might choose to do so.

Me voy = I am going away/leaving

(él) Se fue = He went/left

I hope this helps grin wink grin

I'm going to bring up the dreaded irse. I thought you used irse when emphasizing on your starting point, which is school

I use irse when I'm emphasizing the going without necessarily mentioning where I'm going to. Lazarus had a good post, complete with cartoon, on this topic. I'll look for it. - KevinB, Nov 25, 2011
Thanks, Kevin! - SonrisaDelSol, Nov 25, 2011
Sonrsia salir would be used here. You can say El tren sale a las cinco de la tarde o ¿A qué hora sale el tren? - FELIZ77, Nov 25, 2011
Here meaning the answer that Kevin gave for this example:) - FELIZ77, Nov 25, 2011
