Could it be "se chiveó" from the verb "chivearse"?

En México se dice que alguien "se chivea" cuando se avergüenza o se apena por algo, también cuando una persona se intimida ante alguien.

Chivio doesn't exist

You mean "chivó" from "Chivar" verb.

Chivar mean to tell something to other person to bother a third one.
