I'm watching Destinos, and the word "Guadalupe!" came up when the family members and the cook greeted each other. I looked it up in the dictionary, but to no avail. What does it mean? Is it a simple greeteng? Or maybe it is the original name of the cook whose name is Lupe???

It was probably the cook's name. It's been a long time since I watched the series. Common female name in honor of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe.
