El día que mi familia y yo (mudarse) a esta ciudad (hacer) mal tiempo.

Here, I have to use either Preterite or Imperfect.

for mudarse I think it is preterite >> nos mudamos.

and for hacer I think it's preterite too.. >> hizo.

How would this be translated in english?

The day that my family and I moved to that city..(I got stuck here.. help me..) something bad weather???

Please correct me, Thank you!

I would say:

El día que mi familia y yo nos mudamos a esta ciudad hacía mal tiempo.

Preterite for a one off action - you moved

Imperfect for an ongoing state - bad weather, instead of a completed action the weather was still going on if that makes sense

well, esta is in, i think, but you could go type it in at the top and it should help, hacer mal tiempo is definetly bad weather.
