Conjugation question- "would do"?
What would you put in front of a verb to make it a "would do" sort of verb? What I mean is, what would you say to make "run" into "would run"?
I, to the shame of my english teacher, have never understood all the "present perfect" conjugation stuff ![]()
I know I've overloaded the servers will; all my recent questions ^_^
Y'all are great to answer them so quickly!!

You wouldn't put anything in front of the verb. You would use the conditional tense

Yo correría Tu correrías él correría nosotros correríamos vosotros correríais ustedes correrían
"Would" is one of the 11 Modals in English none of which exist in Spanish.
For that reason you have to find a way to create the same (similar) meaning in Spanish.
As explained by fatchocobo for "would" you modify the verb (run) that follows the English Modal - for all verbs you modify them as shown for "correr" above.
I have made some flashcards that show how this is done for all Modals.
You can find the other Modals in my flashcard "sets" - I am not a native speaker so they may not all be 100% correct.
