Urgent!!!!!! it is a neck to neck race!!!!! Great News : I'm one of the finalists.

Question

Hi, everyone !

Well, I want to tell you about something wonderful that has happened to me. Some time ago, I noticed that there was a very interesting contest which was organised by VTR , Fundación País Digital y Programa Inglés Abre Puertas del Mineduc (Ministry of Education) with the support of BBC World News and British Airways. This contest is intended to encourage and support English language learning here in my country (Chile)

Anyone who's chilean and over 15 could participate, which means almost everyone, and the best 10 responses would be chosen by the judges, then they would be posted on the official webpage ( www.chilehablaingles.cl ) so that the webpage's members could vote for the best one. After that, the best 5 of them would be chosen by voters and the 5 of them would have to go to Santiago (our capital city) to take part in the final stage, where the judges would have to choose the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.

This is just the first stage for me, but I'm really happy because I've been chosen as one of the best 10 responses in a contest where almost all Chilean citizens could participate.

About the awards :

1st place : A trip to London (all inclusive) for 3 nights and 4 days, and the chance to visit the BBC's newsroom + US$500 + iPad + HD Digital Camera

2nd place : iPad + HD Digital Camera

3rd place : HD Digital Camera

Actually, I really want to get the first place, but it will only depend on the voters firstly, and then on me (final stage in Santiago). Anyone who knows me, knows that I've always wanted to visit an English-speaking country, and England is my very favourite one. Money and other stuff don't really matter, but the chance of travelling to London with my mum and visit all of those beautiful places does. If I don't get through, I won't be dissapointed at all. For me it's already great to be part of the best contestants.

I must say THANK YOU! yes, because all of you have been part of my learning. Most of what I've learnt has been thank to the amazing chats organised by our wonderful Heidita, in which I could practise my speaking and learn from every mistake, and learn from every English speaker. I've found wonderful people here who have been helping me since the beginning and it doesn't matter how many times I disturb them haha , they always have a good answer to my questions and they're always sooo helpful!

I'm currently out of the contestant and it's sad because I thought I would be one of the 5 finalists, and I'm sure I could win even when there's an English teacher participating, but I need you to support me now. This is the last day to vote (I don't know if they will let people vote tomorrow as well or if they will close the contestant at midnight tonight).
