I offer this link for Spanish students who want to share the experience of stories enjoyed by 6-to-8 year olds in Spanish. It's great for those who have learned some beginners' basics and want to practice reading and mastering basic skills.
I particularly like the stories in the section, "La Mundo al Revés", which tell twisted versions of familiar childrens' stories (e.g. "Caperucita sin Capucha").
The stories include text and sound. Be sure to maximize your story window to make the small text appear large enough to read easily.
As far as I know, this site is not mentioned in our Learning Resources links of SD's reference section.
