Spanish Show?
I've heard many people say that the best way to increase your fluency in Spanish is to watch spanish tv shows with english subtitles. I was just wondering if any of you have any suggestions for such TV shows or where I could watch them with the subtitles.

I suggest starting by watching English language movies and shows that you already know and like that have been dubbed into Spanish. Of course, you will also want to watch original Spanish language programming, but as a bridge, something that you already know in English can't be beat. I myself watch The Simpsons in Spanish all the time. Whatever movies you already have on DVD, check and see if they have been dubbed into Spanish.
For Spanish language TV programs, here's a link to a bunch that you can stream online. They don't have subtitles...but you could give it shot if you are feeling up for a challenge!

I also watch all English language movies with Spanish subtitles on. It's a great way to increase vocabulary and improve your reading speed in Spanish. I also watch Spanish language movies with the Spanish subtitles on because I can read Spanish faster than I can hear it at this point in my learning.

You can buy a DVD Region-4 (american series or movies) and choice spanish as language with english subtitles.
In this LINK you can find DVDs (movies and soap operas) from Mexico with english subtitles.
I find that a good way is to rent DVDs of either spanish movies such as from Pedro Almodovar or american movies which come with spanish language track and subtitles.
Then you set the subtitles on, but you will notice that sometimes the subtitles do not match the spoken language and I am unsure if it is caused by differences between Spain Spanish and Sud-Americana Spanish.
In any case, It is a great way to practice Spanish. I then pause the movie and search words when unsure of the topic.
