How do I ask for a pork roast at the carniceria? In fact, does anyone have a whole list of pork and beef cuts and their Spanish equivalents?

¿Cual es para churrasco? - MiamiDave, Nov 20, 2011

Sress you want to cook the whole piece in the oven, this is not how the Spanish do pork at all. You will have to point and ask. There is no shortage of pork, on the contrary, but it's used differently, the Sunday Roast is an unknown concept. A loss to Spain, in this instance.. There are, of course, whole suckling pigs to be got, but that is probably not what you have in mind. ¡Suerte al cerdo!
