Please, could you proofread my English mistakes in the differences and similarlies between Lima and Cuzco?

One obvious difference is the people. In Cuzco, the people are introverted like most of the people from the highlands. In contrast, although Lima and Cuzco are departments of the same country, the people of Lima are extroverted. These differences are probably by the weather.

Another area of difference is the language. Whereas people in Cuzco are bilingual, the people from Lima are monolingual. Cuzco has a legacy the language of their ancestors as well known that the Incas spoke the Quechua language and this language is still spoken so far in 80 % of the Cuzco population, so they speak Spanish and Quechua, in contrast, Lima do not have this legacy, buy has as history the arrival of the Spanish who brought the Spanish language.

Cuzco and Lima have another differences in weather. Whereas Cuzco has temperature ranging from 3°C to 26°C under sun, besides that Cuzco has two seasons: The rainy season and the time of frost. While Lima has temperature ranging from 12°C to 30°C and Lima has four seasons, summer, autumn, winter and spring, that is due to the Cordillera de los Andes that cross our country, because Cuzco is located in the South East of the highland, Lima lies in the mid West of our country.

Cuzco differ from Lima in his architecture of city buildings. Whereas Cuzco has medium buildings, due do Cuzco as a tourist city has a legacy of the Incas. In contrast Lima has high buildings to be a city cosmopolitan.

In spite of these differences, these two apparently opposite cultures are similarities in some important experiences.

Both, for example are cities that have people of all over the world. Each Department has a lot of people of all over the world due do Lima is a Cosmopolitan city and it is Perú Capital and Cuzco is a city where one can find people from all over the world for to be the first tourist city of the world, but both departments reflect their own cultural ancestry.

Both departments, moreover, have a lot of activity in the night. Whereas Lima has great night life is similarly to Cuzco that has many night clubs.

Although the two departments differ in many areas such as in the behavior of their people, in their language, in their architecture, in their weather, they have more than one similarities toward the mutual interest the two departments have each other, being one a Cosmopolitan city and the other one a Tourist city. As you can see, the two departments differ in several major aspects, but they share more than one similarity.

Thanks

Lima and Cuzco
Similarities and Differences

One obvious difference is the people. In Cuzco, the people are introverted like most of the people from the highlands. In contrast, although Lima and Cuzco are regions of the same country, the people of Lima are extroverted. These differences are probably influenced by the weather.

Another area of difference is language. Whereas people in Cuzco are bilingual, the people from Lima are not. Cuzco has a legacy in the language of their ancestors. It is well known that the Incas spoke the Quechua language and this language is still spoken by 80 % of the Cuzco population, so they speak both Spanish and Quechua. In contrast, Lima does not have this legacy, but has as its history the arrival of the Spanish who brought their Spanish language.

Cuzco and Lima have another difference in their respective weather. Whereas Cuzco has temperatures ranging from 3°C to 26°C under the sun and has two seasons, rainy season and dry season. The dry season has occasional frost. While Lima has temperature ranging from 12°C to 30°C and four seasons, summer, autumn, winter and spring. The seasons are due to the Cordillera de los Andes that cross our country. Cuzco is located in the South East of the highland while Lima lies in the mid West on the Pacific coast of our country.

Cuzco differ from Lima in the architecture of city buildings. Cuzco has maintained its medium buildings because Cuzco, as a tourist city, has a legacy of the Incas. In contrast Lima has high buildings and is a cosmopolitan city.

In spite of these differences, these two apparently opposite cultures are similar in some important aspects.

Both, for example are cities that have people from all over the world. Each region has many people from other lands and countries because Lima is a Cosmopolitan city and the capital of Peru while Cuzco is a city where one can find foreign visitors and tourists since it is one of the foremost tourist cities of the world, but both regions reflect their own cultural ancestry.

Both regions, moreover, have a lot of night time activity. Both cities have great night life and night clubs.

Although the two regions differ in many ways such as in the behavior of their people, in their language, in their architecture and in their weather, they have more than one similarity. Lima and Cuzco have each other. One is a cosmopolitan city and the other one a tourist city.
