Quiet in a bad way
You ever walk into a room and it's really quiet in a bad way, like you realize that you are all alone, and it is just way too quiet? Tranquilo doesn't seem to express that well. Any thoughts on the type of really uneasy quiet where you feel really not good about it?
Gracias.

Hi, Jeezz!
I can think of desolado, inhóspito and sepulcral. These are negative adjectives to describe an environment, but I'm not sure it's what you are looking for. Desierto could also work when used like an adjective, if you want to express that there is nobody there.
Example:
Entramos en aquel lúgubre hostal de carretera, observamos que estaba desierto. El silencio era sepulcral, no había ni un alma. Parecía un lugar ciertamente inhóspito. Un hombre taciturno se acercó a nosotros. Nos recordaba a Norman Bates y decidimos no pasar la noche allí.
I would say "tan callado/silencioso como un cementerio" ![]()
Me gusta "El silencio amanazador". menacing silence
por que tan callados?
How about "Un silencio incómodo" ??
