How do you want to use this phrase?

Do you mean, for example Ricky wanted to do some push-ups?

or She realized that charging more to cover the costs of transportation would push up the price of food.

push-up

I don't know about Puerto Rico, but the word that I have seen used in previous replies on exercising is flexión.

May not be the same word for, say, a push-up bra. That is why we always ask for context when asking for translations or meanings of words.
