Failure to record points when doing flashcards, why?

My flashcard box says failure to record points alot and also doesn't record points when doing my lessons sometimes does anybody know why or has anybody had this problem before?

you dont get points for looking at the flashcards but if you are talking about the section after flashcards like recall or whatever they are im not sure what the problem is.
