Depends on where you are and what you consider a donut.

This is call buñuelo here in Guatelmala, but "donut" in the U.S.A.

In Mexico they are "donas". A "rosca" is a large (at least one foot in diameter) cake sort of thing, the most well known being "la rosca de reyes", Cristalino has a fabulous photo on a previous post.
