Except in the land of the non-believers where anything - including sports with time-outs is allowed. - ian-hill, Nov 12, 2011
It is most definitely football. It has always been football. - MaryMcc, Nov 12, 2011

I believe there is a decent Swedish manager available. Failing that, I recommend a potential Italian manager, he is called Berlusconi.

Exactly and the training is really good fun, I believe. - annierats, Nov 12, 2011

The Spanish team deserved a better result. England seemed an italian team with 11 defenders.

In any case, congratulations! snake

Raul, I totally agree. We were outplayed. How Spain didn't score I don't know. But a win is a win. - Eddy, Nov 12, 2011
eso es, Eddy. - annierats, Nov 12, 2011
It looked to me like Fabregas was trying very hard not to score. - ian-hill, Nov 12, 2011

Although I'm English, I love watching Spain play. They are the best team in the world. I didn't bother watching the game tonight though. Unfortunately my love of watching England international games started to decline when all the stupid quantities of money entered the game. We now have a load of vastly overpaid very average players.

call me old fashioned but thats another thing I hate about modern internationals. Was much better in years gone by .... all the male bonding!! - billygoat, Nov 12, 2011
Yep I agree a player who looks like Shrek (No names) with an IQ of about 50 and the manners of a drunk gets hitched to a miss World look-a-like. ridiculous. - ian-hill, Nov 12, 2011

Obviously England should play as few Chelsea and / or Man united players as possible - preferably none.

England's results are statistically better without Rooney.

England should also have an English manager.

I thought Fabio Capello was English. - Eddy, Nov 12, 2011
Obviously capello is a GB player, as English as can be! - annierats, Nov 12, 2011
England could do with another ten players like Phil Jones and he is a Man United player. - kenwilliams, Nov 12, 2011
And they could do with a manager like Alex Ferguson, his record at Aberdeen and Manchester speaks for itself. - kenwilliams, Nov 12, 2011
Yep agreed Ken and he is Scottish. :) - ian-hill, Nov 12, 2011

The only problem of spanish team is called: TORRES, FERNANDO TORRES.

The most over-rated player I've ever seen. big surprise

I still wonder how Chelsea has paid so money for this player?? In Spain this player is a "paquete".

Nos merecimos ganar el partido jugamos mejor y dominamos pero bueno el futbol no siempre es justo no entiendo porque españa no se toma en serio los amistosos, pero bueno mientras españa gane los partidos oficiales que pierda todos los amistosos que quiera.
