Hi and welcome to the forum. I know the expression tablas when used to refer to an experienced actor in the movies or theater - as in, tiene tablas - but that doesn't mean "likewise". So I am not sure whether I'm answering your question correctly or not.

But, to say in English "Touché" it doesn't mean "likewise". It's more like, "Got you!" or "You got me!"

For instance, I say to my wife, "You always forget the wine when you go shopping." And she says, "Sure, but you always forget the cheese!" I could say, "Touché!" - "You got me."

This expression comes from fencing, when one succeeds in touching someone on the chest with his epeé one calls out "Touché!"

But the English language doesn't have a stress sign over the "e" or any other letter for that matter. - kenwilliams, Nov 11, 2011
RIght, but touché is a French word imported to english, so it keeps its French spelling. Touché! - Jeremias, Nov 11, 2011
You got me there. - kenwilliams, Nov 11, 2011
