Hello Friends of SpanishDict.

Does anyone know if there is a saying in spanish = equivalent to

"Two wrongs don't make a right"?

Can i use "Dos errores no hacen un acierto?" [from the translator]

Thanks!

In my Oxford Spanish dictionary it is given as:

Con un error no se subsana otro = Two wrongs don't make a right

I hope this helps grin

Interesting, I'll go with your Oxford version, Feliz, my dictionary is silent on this. Possibly wise. - annierats, Nov 10, 2011
No se subsanA otro. - macapi, Nov 10, 2011

Macapi has it right, according to this discussion on wordreference:

Refrán

It's the same in Spanish as in English.

Yes I've seen "Dos errores no hacen un acierto" somewhere before, but I'm not sure it's an original Spanish idiom or saying. Most probably it's only a literal translation of the English version.

good question! I want to know the answer as well. Also if we want to learn some idioms in Spanish, where would be a good place to go?

Gracias.
