In the sentence, "I do not know how to read," Is it... Yo no sé leer. or No yo sé leer.

I know yo is optional, but if you included it, what would you use? Thanks ahead of time!

After, so the sentence would be "Yo no sé leer".

The "no" is ALWAYS before the verb and after the subject. Pretend as if it's like a sandwich in between the sub and verb! smile

Always may be an extreme. The subject can follow the verb in Spanish. - 0074b507, Nov 8, 2011
