These sentences are saying:

Where is Raúl (is Rúal a typo?) is?

He is not in my clas.

So, we're talking about our ol' pal Raúl and his whereabouts [location]. Using that information, which verb do we use when asking where is person is? I'll give you a hint: it's either ser or estar.

Double hint: What you feel and where you are...always use the verb estar!

Once you have figured out whether ser or estar is correct wink, use the tense that suits Raúl, which is the third person singular.
