I agree with Sora it could be a kind of text speak for 'it is' or it might be the short form of 'tizzy' as in 'getting in a tizzy' or 'having a tizzy'.

My grand mother who was born in the late 18 hundreds and came from a small country town in the back words of northen England use tis a lot.

Tissent, I'm not sure how to spell it, means - it is not so.
She spoke an old form of English which used thee and thou and even used the subjuntive tense. I remember times when I was a child and got into trouble with my grandmother she would say to me- Jane, tis of thee that I speak to thy mother.

I have never heard of tiz but I would have to guess since in english tis the season to be jolly has a version of tis in it, I can't imagine why they aren't that far apart.
Also, it could be slang, we use words like that all the time in English-- you never know.....
