Words from Aztec & Mayan Languages in Spanish.

Question

My first question. I am curious about words from the Mayan or Aztec languages that have been "adopted" or absorbed into the spanish language. Are there many? How does the presence of those adopted words set Mexican Spanish aside from the Spanish spoken in Spain?

the ones that come to my mind right now are: nopal, chocolate, chile, guajolote, aguacate, camote, cacahuate, chicle, canica, chamaco, chapulin, jicama, ocelote, jitomate/tomate, mapache, papalote, zopilote, popote, pozole, zacate, tamal, tocayo....and many more. i cant remember them right now/off the top of my head
