If one were consistently better than the others, than there would probably only be one. - 0074b507, Nov 8, 2011
I used to think Google was the best of the 3 we have - but I am not sure any more. - ian-hill, Nov 8, 2011

All of them have problems, but I used to use this one

Since it supports several languages, you can translate a sentence back and forth between several and produce amusing gibberish. Unfortunately, I've come to believe that this is the most productive use of machine tranlators. No disrespect intended towards the people designing and implementing them is intended: the problem is simply too hard to solve with the technology currently available.

I agree, Lorenzo, and itäs lucky, because they still need people who can speak languages, more jobs and more fun! - annierats, Nov 8, 2011
I agree too - but if one knows several languages one can "check" a translation into one that one knows to see if it translates correctly. - ian-hill, Nov 8, 2011
For example a well written English is usually translated ok into Danish and vicky verky (as Ray would say) - ian-hill, Nov 8, 2011
Of course we used to have the multi language Google option but it was removed a while back. - ian-hill, Nov 8, 2011
