What does nocaut mean?
Márquez quiere vencer por nocaut a Pacquiao. I read this sentence in a spanish newspaper. The word nocaut was not found in the dictionary. What does this mean? It seems like the word knock-out but I'm not sure. Thanx in advance.

Nocaut,1 2 noqueo o knock-out (inglés: knockout)
It seems to be a phonetic spelling for knock-out for a language that does not have the silent k, kn letter combination, etc.
Notice that they use TKO (technical knock-out) since it does not involve the difficult letter combinations.
