In Costa Rica, if you are at a McDonald's for example, it can be called the 'auto-mac'. This obviously comes from the fact that McDonald's serves Big Macs. I've also seen that Burger King has their drive thru's labled as 'Auto-King'. Again, I've only seen this in Costa Rica. Gotta' love the Tico sense of humor, eh?

Drive thru = Conducir a través, Drive up = Conducir hacia adelante. Most Spanish speaking countries have adopted, the expressions "Drive thru" and "Drive up", just because you will need to use several words to explain what those expressions mean in English.
