With Cogu's corrections:

You told me that you lived on the second floor! I didn't realise you meant the one hundred and second.

I'm thinking perhaps quisiste should be subjunctive - quisieras? I await your corrections :) - billygoat, Nov 1, 2011
lol - migelis, Nov 2, 2011
Me "dijiste" que "vivías" en el segundo piso (the 1st past is a forgetfulness of yours, the 2nd one is due to the indirect style--> you told me you lived....) - cogumela, Nov 2, 2011
Then, it seems better "de que querías decir" ) using imperfect. And finally, using ordinal numbers, 102nd should be "centésimo segundo", or, to keep it simple using normal numbers: "ciento dos" Excellent, billy! :) - cogumela, Nov 2, 2011
gracias amiga mia :) - billygoat, Nov 2, 2011

I always think that people should be given a second chance in life..after all, if we were in their position we would want (ie: like to have) one too!

I am sorry always for the sportsmen who reach only the second result on an international contest. They are making the same work as the first and the result was within an ace of the first and in spite of this that is not so valuable .

I recommend you add a second monitor to your computer so you can post twice as many messages on the SpanishDict forum.

I like it when the family gets together in New Year's eve, because everybody seems to have a good time counting the seconds down to midnight. It's a moment of great expectation, even for the oldies.

Gracias, Cogumela. That is the first time I have written "in" in Spanish (I have written "en" in English a few places outside this site). The "la" was stupid; I like the switch to "pagarse" but would not have known to do it. :-) - Stadt, Nov 2, 2011
