You should first learn that "por favor" means please. It may come in handy on this site. - Eddy, Nov 1, 2011

Hi Gant and Welcome to the SpanishDict forum grin

I notice that you have not filled in the part of your profile that shows us your level of ability in Spanish and English. We would really appreciate it if you could do this as soon as possible because this enables us to know how best to help you. wink

We do not offer a free translation service on this site wink smile grin but we do encourage people to post their best attempt at translation and then people will be happy to offer corrections, guidance and advice.

One additional point to mention: people on this site, many of whom are native speakers of both Spanish and English give up their time freely to help others and really do appreciate it when people have the good manners to say please and thank you on this site.... so please remember this when posting your future requests for helpgrin

We look forward to helping you with your sentence grin

Give me a bacon sandwich = Deme un emparedado de tocino.

Many Spanish speaking countries have adopted the word "sandwich" in their vocabulary replacing the word emparedado which is the correct word in Spanish.

And yes, good manners will always bring out the best of people!

Welcome to the SpanishDict forum!

En españa puede ser mejor preguntar por/ pedir un bocadillo de jámon ( con jámon ibérico o jámon york) . No hay bacon sandwiches, con excepción de los sitios muy turisticos, como mallorca, donde puede comer English Breakfast todo el día.

In Spain it may be better to ask for a ham sandwich as bacon sandwiches don't excist except in very touristy locations, such as Mallorca, where you can eat English Breakfast all day.
