Comodo vs Comoda

Question

I'm confused. "Comoda" is the feminine form of "Cómodo", but on SD, "cómodo" has an accent over the first "o", but "comoda" doesn't. Yet they seem to have the same pronunciation. Is there something here I don't yet understand regarding accents?

That is a typo.

See the accent marks in the brackets? Someone just didn't type in the accent when they were building the page, good catch, you should send it in to the technical support people along with this link so they don't have to do any verification:

No. Both should carry a written accent. It looks like you picked out a typo in the dictionary. The forms should be:

Cómodo [masculine]

Cómoda [feminine]
