Pronounciation of Acceder

Pronounciation of Acceder

I would like to know how the first syllable of acceder is pronounced.

The word-of-the-day for October 29 shows pronounciation: ah-seh-der'

The SD dictionary entry shows ac-thay-derr’

Other words with double C usually have the hard C sound on the first C - e.g., acción

If the first "C" is a soft sound, why are there two "C"'s?

The other syllables don't match either, but they don't worry me as much.

I have always that that "cc" in Spanish is similar to "cc" in English - in other words both "c" s are pronounced. I could be wrong though. - ian-hill, Oct 29, 2011
My other site has native speakers and they say ak-seh-der. - foxluv, Oct 29, 2011

Happy result. The word-of-the-day pronounciation key for acceder has been corrected, after I gave the webmaster and Paralee a report about the matter.
