Specific Spanish translation
Hi!
I am making a Christmas gift and need to know the Spanish translastion of:
"I found my heart at a yard sale"
My parents met at a yard sale and I want to put that phrase in a painting. Can you help?
Thanks very much!

"Patio de venta" is the Spanish translation for "yard sale". ChaCha on!
For I found I would suggest "Me encontré" because encontrarse has the nuance of "by chance" (tropezar con por casualidad) rather than descubrir or hallar.
Wait for a native's reply.
Encontré mi corazón en una venta de garage/cochera
In México City we call a yard sale as "venta de garage" or "venta de cochera"
Hi! I would say "encontré mi corazón en una venta de garaje".
Would mi amor sound better? To me it sounds a little as if they are selling leftover meat or organs for transplant if you say corazón...LOL, I know what you're trying to say.
Encontré a mi media naranja en una venta de garage.
