A conversation I do not understand
Watching motorcycle diaries and got the Spanish subs to it. There is no context. These two guys just talk to each other randomly about everything, it's all out of context.
00:31:04,348 --> 00:31:08,842 Ernestito.
Traeme la bombachita yanqui de Miami. Bring me the sexy yankee undies from Miami.
00:31:08,919 --> 00:31:11,012
¿No te das cuenta?
Nunca se la vas a ver puesta.
Don't you get it? You are never going to see her wear them.
391
00:31:11,088 --> 00:31:15,218
Nunca se la va a sacar tampoco. **
And you are never going to take them off either. 392
00:31:16,226 --> 00:31:16,851
Fuser.
393
00:31:21,565 --> 00:31:24,625
¿Sabés cuál es el problema, Fuser? You know what your problem is Fuser?
I don't get the "Nunca se la vas a ver puesta" or the following line. "Nunca se la va a sacar tampoco"
Why se la vas a ver? Why puesta? What does that mean? Why se la va? Why sacar, that doesn't make "take out" does it? in that context?
I don't get it at all.
Not the constructions or the sentences.
Gracias.

Let's see, Jeezz:
Llevar (algo) puesto means to wear (something)
Me pongo una bombachita yanqui: I put on a bombachita yanqui, so the bombachita yanqui is being worn (puesta) by me
A "bombachita yanqui" means woman interior clothes: panties, knickers
vas a ver = you will see
Nunca se (to her) la (the bombachita yanqui) vas a ver puesta.
You will never see her wearing it (the bombachita yanqui)
Sacarse (ropa)= to take off clothes
Nunca se (belongs to the verb) la (la bombachita yanqui) va a sacar tampoco
She will never take it (the bombachita yanqui) off, either.
I've watched the film a few times, Jeez. I seem to remember he'd bought a bikini (maybe it was underwear though, as Cogu says) for the girlfriend he left behind, so that would all make sense.
I love that film. Especially the part where he swims across the river.
And have a look at pajero , jeez![]()
Ok, I have been at work all day since early so let's see about this: (also I spoke to Maria about it)
Let's see, Jeezz:
Llevar (algo) puesto means to wear (something)
I know about tener / llevar algo puesto/a but it seems weird without tener / llevar. I suppose following an infinitive like "verlo puesta" it works? Maria says: if you see puesto/a it means wear more than not.
Me pongo una bombachita yanqui: I put on a bombachita yanqui, so the bombachita yanqui is being worn (puesta) by me
A "bombachita yanqui" means woman interior clothes: panties, knickers
Ok from bombacha, like bragas this word is not understood here (they say "calzonas")
vas a ver = you will see
Yes.
Nunca se (to her) la (the bombachita yanqui) vas a ver puesta.
You will never see her wearing it (the bombachita yanqui)
Sacarse (ropa)= to take off clothes
Everyone at work said "Sacar? clothes? no, no quitar".. So this must weird / unusual too.
Nunca se (belongs to the verb no entiendo lo que quieres decir) la (la bombachita yanqui antiquated word) va a sacar tampoco
She will never take it (the bombachita yanqui) off, either.
So ......."Nunca se la vas a ver puesta" . "Nunca se la va a sacar tampoco" are the oddballs and here is what I see now.
Nunca se la vas a ver puesta. You will never see her wear it. Se = on her. I believe it should still work without se, and the se just means (on her) (nunca vas a verla puesta) maybe not.
Nunca se la va a sacar tampoco. Everyone wondered about sacarse so I will remember this as "advanced level" and not as "everyday" and learn it slowly.
Gracias.
