Finding my post to correct on large threads.
On the larger threads, like Drop one take one, I'm having trouble finding my post to correct my piece of the thread. It's also difficult on a game like the one above to find which post needs correcting. Any suggestions to help me or links on the reference page to help? The shorter ones are easy, they pop up automatically as soon as I go to my points and badges at the top.

HI katy, sorry, there is no easy way to find posts on longer threads...you just have to check the threads daily, there is no other way I know of, let's wait for quentin, he knows everything, jeje
Very informative , Moe, thanks a lot.
I am using firefox and I have just searched a function, on my toolbar there is a little thingy which highlights words that you are looking for and did what Moe said. I wrote in Heidita and all my names were highlighted, so I found my posts and especially comments, which are much more difficult to find, right away.
good one, Moe, thanks![]()
¡Hola!, KatyDew:
The failing of the "search answers" feature is that it also will not take you directly to the reply where the words you have used (e.g. "silla rota") are used in the reply itself. Nor does it highlight in any way the particular reply window you are searching for. But you probably already knew that.
You might be able to reduce search time for more recent replies if you 'click' on the newest tab at the start of the answers. That will bring the most recent answers to the top. You get the same result by going to the bottom of page 1 and 'click' on 'Last' page.
I use Internet Explorer (IE) as my web browser. On IE, if I 'click' on 'Edit' up in the menu bar there is a drop down menu with the option 'Find on this page...' Enter your own screen name and it will search the page open on the screen for any occurence of your name including the appearance of your name under your avatar or in the "comment" slots.. If your name entry is not on that page, page back and search that prior page for your name. Repeat as necessary.
This is still not satisfactory but may reduce (but certainly will not eliminate) your search time.
I've pondered this before but, like you, I've been frustrated for a better answer.
Muchos saludos/Best regards,
Moe
I'm having trouble finding my post to correct my piece of the thread.
It seems that everyone has discussed my workaround already. I will only add that the page search is also available by using CTRL F. Enter your username or any phrase or unusual keyword and it will highlight the first occurrence on the page in green including under your avatar or in comments. Very easy to spot. Use Next to find subsequent occurrences.
If you have a program like Office OneNote or a desktop notepad program just click on the link for the question or reply in a thread that you think that you might wish to return to and copy the link to your notepad. This will return you to your exact reply and not just to the thread itself.
