Major Earthquake in Turkey
There has been a very serious earthquake in Turkey. Deaths and injuries will be high. The area is very poor and a lot of buildings have collapsed.

Well, I live in Ankara. I'm not affected in any way if we exclude the psychological part because there are 80 dead and 500 injured person right now. And the estimated number of dead people is 1000! It's a crazy number. That's huge! I hope they are wrong but it's possible because in that city "Van", I don't think that there are well constructed buildings, I've been there and I can imagine the situation right now. There should be a mess, everyone is searching a shelter... People with no home... No precautions... Nothing! I hope these days pass by quickly because there will be pain.

I just heard. My heart goes out to all the people in that area of Turkey. I hope they get the help they need ASAP. That country sure does get hit with bad earthquakes...and their infrustructure is very poor in most areas, so it makes it even worse.

Lets hope for the best. My prayers go out to the people of Turkey.
We may not have any members from the effected area because it is a poor part of the country with little infer structure. I'm guessing there will be some international aid but rebuilding will be slow and painful.
