I just finished 2.1 and the last question/answer sequence confused me. The question was "Por qué es veterinaria?" and the answer was "Es veterinaria porque le gustan los animales." It seems that the question being asked is "Why does a person become a veterinarian?" or "What characterizes a vetrinarian?" and that the response is "Because a vetrinarian is pleased by animals." But this seems like a stretch from the wording given- i.e., "Why is (a) veterinarian?" "A veterinarian because she is pleased by animals." Is there some good way to help understand this?

"Por qué es veterinaria?"

HI newman, you just not forget the subject, which we normall do not mention:

¿Por qué es ella veterinaria?

Why is she a vet?

because she likes animals of coursegrin
