Spanish titles

Are Spanish titles translated? I am having an argument with a co-worker who thinks that we should be translating titles (positions), but I was under the impression that titles just like Logos are not translated. Am I wrong?

Well if you speak about books title, movies title in Spanish don't need translation, if talk about job position is good you translate the job position.

What kind of titles--job positions (jefe, gerente), movie titles (Buscando a Nemo), book titles.....etc?
