My chrome shockwave plugin keeps crashing

My chrome and firefox have been crashing for a few days now. First, it just asked me to kill chrome pages. Now the shockwave plug-in is crashing all the time. I have a PC with windows vista. Does anyone have any advice? (I have restarted and done cleaner). Anyone having similar problems?

Stupid question, but.... Have you tried updating any software involved with this? And did you update something else, before which things were working okay?
Did Microsquish automatically update on your PC since things were working okay?

I think there was an update yesterday, but this has been going on for a while. And now I suddenly have Bing toolbar which I dislike very much and it is very hard to get rid of.

You ought to be able to hide, if not uninstall, any toolbar. I'm sure there's a way to do it. I haven't heard of Bing breaking anything, so far. - pesta, Oct 14, 2011
