sentence structure with tan importante
using these words I made the following sentence: no atreverse / yo / tan importante / una decisión / tomar / a
No me atrevo a tomar una decisión tan importante.
I'm not sure if "tan importante" should go before or after "una decisión". Also, is the rest of the sentence correct?

I believe that the way you have expressed it is already correct in so far as the position of tan importante is concerned:
No me atrevo a tomar una decisión tan importante.
I spoke it out both ways and it certainly sounds more natural placing tan importante after una decisión. It sounded strange/unnatural saying it the other way around.
As regards the rest of the sentence: I believe it to be correct but I am not 100% sure, so please wait to receive confirmation from native or advanced speakers. ![]()
Sometimes you can place words in two different orders and the sentences would be correct and make sense either way but carry subtley different meanings in Spanish. I don't think that reversing the order is applicable in this sentence; although I could be wrong.
