Desde / Hace / Desde hace

Question

Esto me cuesta mucho.. I'd really appreciate any help with this, have I got it right?

Llevo un año estudiando español.

I have spent 1 year studying Spanish.

Llevé 2 años estudiando checo.

I spent 2 years studying Czech.

Hace un año que estudio español.

Desde hace un año estudio español.

I have been studying Spanish for a year / since a year ago.

Dejé de aprender la lengua checa hace un año.

I stoped learning Czech a year ago.

Hace un año que aprendí la lengua checa.

It has been a year since I learned Czech.

Hace siete años que viví con mis padres.

It has been 6 years since I lived with my parents.

Hace un año que vivo en Gerona.

I have lived in Girona for a year.

He alquilado este piso desde hace un mes.

I have rented this flat for a month.

He sido enseñando inglés desde hace 4 años.

I have been teaching English for 4 years.

No he vivido en la república checa desde hace 1 año.

I haven't lived in the Czech Republic for a year.

You might fix the tilde on the "año " that lacks it. I will be interested to see the answer to this. :-) - Stadt, Oct 11, 2011

Llevé 2 años estudiando checo.

I spent 2 years studying Czech.

In this case lleve doesn't work here, you have to say "estudié 2 años checo"

Dejé de aprender la lengua checa hace un año.

I stoped learning Czech a year ago.

You don't have to say "la lengua", just: Dejé de aprender checo, it's not a mistake but sounds odd"

Hace un año que aprendí la lengua checa.

It has been a year since I learned Czech.

The same thing.

Hace siete años que viví con mis padres.

It has been 6 years since I lived with my parents.

desde que viví

He sido enseñando inglés desde hace 4 años.

I have been teaching English for 4 years.

He enseñado inglés...

No he vivido en la república checa desde hace 1 año.

I haven't lived in the Czech Republic for a year.

sounds better "no vivo"

Again, you did a great job and it was correct, I just made them sound better.
