Cuando el puente está cerrado porque ha sido destruido por inundación, o terremoto, o quizás esté demasiado viejo, ¿cómo se llama? En inglés se dice "the bridge is out."
Pero en español? Quizás se diga «el puente está estropeado». ¿No?
When the bridge is closed because it's been destroyed by a flood or earthquake, or perhaps it's too old, what is that called? In English we say "the bridge is out". But in Spanish?

Good question. I wonder if "el puente está fuera de servicio" is the way. Informally I would say "El puente no sirve" but I wonder about all the ways or if "fue estropeado" would work''?
