Is anyone a tutor at their local school or college?

¡Hola a todos!

I've just had 2 semesters of Spanish and was thinking about becoming a peer tutor at my local Community College to help others with material covered in those two classes.

I'm not an expert by any means, and my speaking skills are far from proficient, but I know I would have liked to have had a tutor, at least a dedicated 1 on 1 lesson type situation with a tutor. Sometimes just having a person to explain things slowly would be a big help. In a class of 25 you really don't get the opportunity to explore all the details of words, ideas, and new concepts.

Since I work full-time, I was going to take Intermediate Spanish as an independent study, with hopefully a Spanish tutor myself.

Does anyone do this (tutor)? I was also thinking I might be able to help ESL students, and they could help me.

Muchas gracias y que tengan un buen día.

Yes, for Spanish Honors Society, tutoring younger children is a requirement, so I'm involved in it.
