In most offices, generally speaking, you have have to start at the "bottom of the ladder" - but not always.

That's not a step, but I guess it could be a seat.

I don't understand, if we have so much work in the office , that we have to sit so crowded, why can't we move to a bigger office ?

It is apparent that someone did not read the warning "Do not stand or sit on top".

It says not to sit on top? I know it says it isn't a step, but I didn't know it said anything about sitting. :) - Tosh, Oct 10, 2011
Hi yeserso, you have one command in the ud form and the other in the tú form - if they're both tú you can say No te quedes o no te sientes :) (quédate etc only works in the positive) - Kiwi-Girl, Oct 10, 2011
and the same with siéntate :) - Kiwi-Girl, Oct 10, 2011

OK first @ Tosh, you and I posted at the same moment, my post wasn't commenting on yours in case you took it that way and trust me I work on ladders all the time. Most stepladders say not to stand or sit on top.:) - Yeser007, Oct 10, 2011

There isn't enough room in this office in order to fart. At least I hope there isn't.

It's said that deskwork is less risky than oudoor work but this is not necessarily the whole truth.
