My friend uses the word "bamonos" which is her spelling. She says it means "lets go" and I can not find that word anywhere. She does not speak english fluently so I am wondering if this is a different word than what she tells me.

Actually, the perfect spelling is "vámonos" which translate, let's go. It can also be "vamos" the ending part ...nos. comes from "nosotros" which is the "us" part of the sentence.

Change the "b" to a "v" and check the dictionary again. Those two letters sound alike to Spanish speakers, so they are often confused when writing.
